While downloading the essential packages for a new fink install my
internet connection was terminated, I believe I was on the last few
kb of the last tarball, Is there a way to keep what I have downloaded
so far and only download the missing tarball/s from the mirrors?

When I try to use ./bootstrap again it tells me that /sw already
exists and won't install over it insisting on a fresh install in /
sw2. I have no idea what terminal commands to execute in order to
keep what packages I have and fill in the gaps. I have gone over the
readme and searched on the fink forums but the info seems to only
apply to postinstall which I obviously haven't gotten to yet.

I am on an expensive connection using a mobile phone, I would like to
keep the ~24 MB of tarballs I have already managed to download.

I posted this in the fink forums and had no reply.
