Hi, Anyone can help with the problem as posted below? I recently upgrade to OS 10.6 and want to install the latest Fink. I uninstall the old version Fink for OS 10.5 and downloaded Fink 0.29.10. Unpacking the tar document was ok but in the next step, when I type "./bootstrap" as instructed on the Fink webpage, and provide the password, followed the method (1) (default), I got the following information:
Checking package...Can't locate Fink/Bootstrap.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /Users/name/fink-0.29.10/perlmod /Library/Perl/Updates/5.10.0 /System/Library/Perl/5.10.0/darwin-thread-multi-2level /System/Library/Perl/5.10.0 /Library/Perl/5.10.0/darwin-thread-multi-2level /Library/Perl/5.10.0 /Network/Library/Perl/5.10.0/darwin-thread-multi-2level /Network/Library/Perl/5.10.0 /Network/Library/Perl /System/Library/Perl/Extras/5.10.0/darwin-thread-multi-2level /System/Library/Perl/Extras/5.10.0 .) at /Users/brucefouke/fink-0.29.10/bootstrap line 186. I checked the folder and found an executable program bootstrap, but no bootstrap.pm. Please feel free if you have any idea to install this program. Millions of thanks!
