I am trying to install abcde to rip CDs in FLAC, since the other option, Max,
doesn't seem to search track info well. I installed abcde successfully (fink
install abcde), but had troubles with oggenc not being available. I installed
vorbis-tools (fink install vorbis-tools), but now when I try to use abcde to
rip a disc, I get repeated errors:
cut: stdin: Illegal byte sequence
/sw/bin/abcde: line 2234: -n: command not found
cut: stdin: Illegal byte sequence
I do not know why this is happening. I'll note that the disc has accented
characters in the titles. Can anyone advise?
