I did that one before with what must have been an earlier version of esound, as 
a newer version is listed in status after the version  already adjusted. It 
allowed me to install other things, but never esound. esound must have updated 
versions via a self update, but I still get the time out when trying to build 
it. I can build other things now.

Did that then tried to update esound again and got the same timeout.
