It built for me when I explicitly removed Fink's texlive packages and
replaced them by tetex. Using the preference pane probably doesn't
change the lookup table that the TeX commands use to find styles and the
like, and so those from texlive got used. Maybe try running "sudo texhash".
Unfortunately, Sourceforge CVS is down, so the best that can be done
right now is to come up with a solution that you can apply locally. I
don't have one as of yet, however. :-) Martin will probably come up
with something shortly.
