Hi Alexander,
We observed the following behaviour:
- On installing libgettext3-dev, the dependency list shows
libgettext8-dev and tries to install it after removing libgettext3-dev.
- Same is the case if we install libgettext8-dev first and then run the
build command. The dependency list shows libgettext3-dev and tries to
install it after removing libgettext8-dev.
- The original dependency list requires both the packages to be
installed.
If these two packages are completely independent, then why is it that we
are facing this issue? Could you please point out a way in which we could
have both these packages installed via Fink without the above issue being
seen?
