I did that, and it worked, thanks. What did I do with that command, it seemed to have solved my problems. Then I typed: 'fink selfupdate-rsync', and 'fink install gcc45'. I think this worked too. If I write gimp in the terminal I get "-bash: gimp: command not found", and also if I look for gimp in the spotlight, it shows me plenty of gimp folders but no application. -if I now use Xcode, how do I tell it to use gfortran to compile my text? Thanks again, I really appreciate the help. > > - -- > Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. > Fink User Liaison > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (Darwin) > Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ > > iEYEARECAAYFAk1mzQEACgkQB8UpO3rKjQ/aWgCdFcYKKviViuwHGwqlKTDBG1Wu > Ey0AnR4n2LE3oIS20KGbVhUkJeD5W9SM > =BCdm > -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Free Software Download: Index, Search & Analyze Logs and other IT data in Real-Time with Splunk.
