Please reply to the list, not to me individually. Yes, for a C compiler, you need XCode4, which you can get from the the App Store or from connect.apple.com. The App Store was having troubles the last couple days due to the iOS5 release, so you might need to try several times. Also, note that the file downloaded from the App Store is just a downloader for the actual installer, so you need to make sure you run the item you get from the App Store.
