["fully updated" as in "latest free version"? (3.2.6) or "absolute latest version" (4.2.0)?] I have Fink source release 0.31.4 on my Mac, [32-bit or 64-bit?] with the unstable > tree enabled, and fully updated with "fink selfupdate" and "fink > update-all" etc. I believe Fink has already downloaded all the > packages needed for the build, except for a small package called > "regina-normal4.90-0.1-shlibs". > > When I try to install Regina by "fink install regina-normal", it > downloads "regina-normal4.90-0.1-shlibs" and starts the build > right away. (which included useful debugging information like your architecture and OS version) I'm not showing regina-normal-4.90 as being in the Fink distribution (and the revision of 0.1 would be illegal in a released Fink package). fink's error messages have no way of distinguishing between official and third-party packages. Because this isn't an official package, there isn't much we can really do to help you. We don't have access to the package description file, so there's no way for us to see what might be wrong in that. There's nothing to configure in Fink to change the build. You'll just need to bring this issue up with the appropriate contact person wherever you got your .info file from. - -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison http://finkakh.wordpress.com/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk6vJQIACgkQB8UpO3rKjQ8TFgCffvjWOYHnoBka/Si+rW6ErQjv ztYAn0EoBcm6fSCfOfHmjmV1p7JZFdmM =OWM7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get your Android app more play: Bring it to the BlackBerry PlayBook in minutes.
