Then why did you report a problem with gdl?  You aren't even able to
try to build that, and so you don't know if you have a problem in it.

Don't attach log files.  When you do that, then somebody has to open
them up and paste the text back into the message for context and so
that search engines can find the relevant terms to make the list
archives useful.

It's far better to put the text inline in the message, and to cut it
down to what looks like an error rather than trying to do the whole

You're linking to an X11 other than the default one that comes with
the operating system, and we _only_ support the latter.  Do you have
Macports installed, too?

My best recommendation is for you to rename /opt/local temporarily
while you build with Fink.
