OK, I've done a fink self update, and I've configured to do only one build job
at a time. But fink update-all still dies with the following:
Failed: phase compiling: cloog-org-0.16.2-2 failed
update-all is trying to update 7 packages: cloog-org, cloog-org-shlibs,
ghostscript, libcurl4, libcurl4-shlibs, python27, python278-shlibs
and install 2 packages: libmetalink3 libmetalink3-shlibs
I've tried "fink install"ing each of these individually, and they all
eventually die with a similar error:
Failed: phase compiling: python27-2.7.3-2 failed
Failed: phase compiling: libmetalink3-0.1.2-1 failed
etc.
For cloog-org, the preceding error message says
checking for __gmpz_init in -lgmp... no
configure: error: Can't find gmp library.
### execution of ./configure failed, exit code 1
For libmetalink, the preceding compiler error says
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../.. -Wall -I../../lib/includes

For ghostscript, the preceding error says
configure: error: I wasn't able to find a copy
of the jpeg library. This is required for compiling
ghostscript. Please download a copy of the source,
e.g. from http://www.ijg.org/, unpack it at the
top level of the gs source tree, and rename
the directory to 'jpeg'.
(which I would be happy to do, if I knew where the gs source tree was :-)
