Hi Alexander:
Leaving a space actually helped to execute 'fink configure'-- Thank you.
However, I ran into another problem, During 'fink update-all', I am getting the 
following error message:
Errors were encountered while processing: fink-buildlock-gmp5-5.1.2-1### 
execution of /sw/bin/dpkg-lockwait failed, exit code 1Failed: buildlock failure
Prior to this, I was doing 'fink update-all', but there was a moment the update 
process froze, and I waited overnight without making further progress. I 
restarted terminal and then got error message above.
