Dear developers, I would like to mention a minor glitch in ffmpeg package.
The package was refusing to compile citing problems with libass, although libass-dev was installed. Examining the config.log, the actual problem turned out to be fribidi-dev, after a fink install fribidi-dev, the ffmpeg package seems to be compiling correctly.
