Hi,

I have just installed Fink and then the XCrysDen program on my 17” mac (last
17” model) running 10.9.3. I’ve got not error messages, and everything seems to
have worked just fine. However, when I want to run XCrysDen I get the following
error message:

application-specific initialization failed: Can't find a usable init.tcl in the
following directories:
    /sw/lib/tcl8.6 /sw/lib/lib/tcl8.6 /sw/lib/tcl8.6 /sw/lib/library
/sw/library /sw/tcl8.6.1/library /tcl8.6.1/library

This probably means that Tcl wasn't installed properly.

Error in startup script: couldn't read file "--/Tcl/cygwin.tcl": no such file
or directory
    while executing
"source $system(TOPDIR)/Tcl/cygwin.tcl"
    (file "/sw/share/xcrysden-1.5.53/Tcl/xcInit.tcl" line 443)

[1]+ Done xcrysden

I hope somebody can help me solve this problem.

I thank you in advance!
Paul
