I didn’t see this in the moderation queue, but I’ll reply anyway. What appears
to have happened is that the build of “dpkg-bootstrap” didn’t work properly,
and didn’t generate the dpkg-deb executable. If you’ve done a clean install of
Fink, then you might want to check for that error earlier on in the build
output.
