I selfupdated fink to version 0.41.0, running OS X 10.10.5 (no upgrades to
either the OS or XQuartz). Tried to update packages texlive-base and texlive,
got following error messages:

*pdfxmltex.ini' ...
dyld: Library not loaded: /sw/lib/libpng16.16.dylib

Reason: Incompatible library version: pdftex requires version 41.0.0 or
later, but libpng16.16.dylib provides version 35.0.0
