Well, that pretty much sums it up. I'm thinking /var/mail for
compatibility.

If I already have mail in /var/spool/mail, and I switch to a new MTA
via Fink, and the new MTA delivers to /sw/var/spool/mail, then all
of my mail is going to disappear. (Either new mail goes to an
unexpected place, or $MAIL is changed and old mail is left in the
old place.)

So what do y'all* think?

Daniel

* According to an English teacher I once had, that's the proper
second person plural pronoun in English. Or something. Its not my
fault I was taught from birth to speak such a screwed up
language... (-;
