Hi Erik. You haven't told us what problem you're having! We've run into a number of different libtool problems, and have done our best to address them. We send patches back to the libtool team but I'm not sure if all of them have been accepted.
You might have a look at http://fink.sourceforge.net/doc/porting/libtool.php to see if your issues are addressed there.
