Generally, if gnomemm has a BuildDepends on the header package (like gnome-libs-dev or gtkmm), then gnomemm-shlibs should be given a Depends on the shlibs package (like gnome-libs-shlibs or gtkmm-shlibs). Whether you really need this or not, you can determine by examining your shared libraries with otool -L: it reports all of the other libraries which must be present for this library to load.
