You probably hit the PDB while the "flag" script was being run, which is taking quite a while now that i enabled splitoffs. It looks fine now (2040 packages)

That script needs to be updated to use a SQL transaction, if possible, so the db update is shown at once.. (they use MySQL though)

I thought MySQL doesn't support Transactions?

According to http://www.mysql.com/news/article-113.html , "MySQl now provides full transactional support", though i don't know if sf has that version yet. Hence my "if possible" clause there. :)
