Side note, it provides bindings for gnuplot, plplot, pgplot and plain C/FORTRAN and should have had support for Python, perl etc. if the there where 11 days to a week ;-)

There is no source tarball. Fink downloads a binary, which is totally against policy. You really should post the source tarball so fink can actually build it.
