Another small question.

Should I have Nagios depend on Apache, or should I simply assume that people are savvy enough to use the pre-installed apple version?
Is there are a fairly fool proof way to check which dependencies I should put into the info?

gd is an obvious one. Mysql and postgresql for the respective versions as well. There is also an interface to a mailer, should I simply have them default to the Apple sendmail or put something as a depends here as well?

Furthermore, where do I look up all the info how to properly add the service to our framework. I heard we are using daemonic?

Thank you
