I just finished packaging up the latest version of the gEDA tool suite, and it consists of 11 info files and 3 patch files. Would it be preferable to submit this to the tracker as a tar file? (I can see it getting very confusing very quickly if I have to upload changed versions of any of the info files.)

If anyone wants to see the files before passing judgement, they're here:

http://www.ghz.cc/cgi-bin/viewcvs/dev/eda/finkinfo/geda/ geda.tar.gz?tarball=1

You can build everything by installing "geda-bundle".

iverilog, gerbv and pcb were submitted separately.

Looking back, it might have made sense to cram them all into one jumbo-size .info/.patch file pair-- snapshots of all of the utilities involved are released at one time. However, I have already found several occasions where I needed to recompile only one package. Is there any project-wide preference regarding this? I can change it if anyone has a strong opinion.
