i was on holiday and there were a big number of package updated. i wanted to update all of them in one step. but for example postfix-release needed db3-devel but another program needed db41-ssl-devel and installed this one. - the postfix build died ... and so did other ... - after a few "fink update-all"s all works well, but it's not nice this way.
wouldn't it be better to check if dependencies are ok before EACH package gets compiled?
i don't know perl enough to peak into the source.
