Dear Developers,
I have the following problem with the sci/root3-threaded package in the 10.2-gcc3.3 tree. I need an explicitly thread enabled xfree86. Therefore I have the following depends in the info file:
Depends: ... , xfree86-base-threaded | xfree86 | system-xfree86 (>= 4.3-1), ...
AFAIK fink version 0.15.0 should provide a virtual package for system-xfree. However, I do not have such a package and if I try to build root3-threaded, fink complains about it.
Here the status of my install after fink index:
$ fink list xfree

(i) xfree86 4.3.0-15 XFree86 distribution
Fink only provide system-xfree86 *if* you don't already have some other xfree86 package installed.
You do have one (xfree86 and xfree86-shlibs), so it's not providing system-xfree86. root3 should, I think, accept xfree86 as a choice though, you might just need to upgrade your existing xfree86.
