Howdy folks,
I was just wondering if the Aqua version of Qt for Mac OS X is available from Trolltech (http://www.trolltech.com) works with fink packages in general, or is it the case that individual packages may need to be tweaked to take advantage of the Aqua QT if its present on the system? Maybe this is more of a question for Trolltech. Anyway, I thought some folks on this list may know.
Any help would be much appreciated.
In theory, yes.
In practice, many open-source unix apps have only ever been built against X11 Qt, and so they have X11-specific code that needs to be fixed before things will build against Qt/Mac.
