It seems that there was no email to fink-commits from the previous change to legal.php, so I missed what had happened.
If you look in the commit logs, http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/fink/web/legal.php you'll see some history about this. dmalloc proposed a major change in our legal statement over a year ago. There was some controversy about this (in particular, I objected but I think others did too), and on January 18, 2003 we reverted to the old version "pending further discussion." Have we had the further discussion? I missed it...
