Well, could you work something out with Baba? We could have a mailing list where changes are posted, and wait for the translations, or things could just continue as is with the faq being updated in English and getting translated later.
I think the best idea would be a bit of both, post the changes and then commit them. This would be a little more work for the original author, but would also mean that the translator would not have to follow the commits list carefully. However, I think I should just be quiet and let the actual docs people sort it out :)
