Hello,
some days ago I tried to install Kde in my computer(OSX2.8 gcc-3.3) because a program that I installed before need it for runing (the program is aRts),but Kde just refused to get installed; I asked for help here but the problem wasnt solved, and the person who helped me recomended to ask again in few days, so Im here again with the same problem and asking for help...

after doubting your words for quite some time (because what you were saying seemed impossible), I found now that you are indeed victim of a bug in fink. I am bouncing this to the fink-devel list so that someone competent can fix it.

For the moment what you can do is: Find the file automake.info and either
- destroy it (it is useless anyway) or
- edit it and replace the line

Type: NoSource

by

Type: nosource

The error should then go away.

To whoever did this: The "Type:" field apparently changed from being case insensitive to case sensitive some time ago. There are still quite a few packages in the 10.2-gcc3.3 tree that have "Type: NoSource". This is not respected any more, so that fink tries to download a non-existent foo.tar.gz tarball.

Please either make this case insensitive again or fix all the packages that still have this. Maybe fields other than Type: are concerned, too?
