Thoughts on concept? Improvements on details of the new layout?

The concept is good, but I find the optical layout confusing. "What do all those numbers mean?"

Could you perhaps print the version numbers in some color, red or so?
Or put small-print headings like "bindist version" and "package version"?
Or use visible cell borders and backgrounds?

In the old form, there were clear columns, the first column containing
the tree, the second and third the package version. It is too mixed-up now.

Good point about the different types of numbers. I just added subheadings to clarify what is what.
Could you use only two lines for the headers, this way the columns would have more space, hence it will be visually nicer.

Something like this (--- are only here to make it comprehensible in the mail):

System --- Point Distribution --- Current Distribution
Bindist number --- Package Version --- Stable Tree Version --- Unstable Tree Version

This has the advantage of making clear first that there are two types of distribution, point and current, and second that the point distribution has only one version depending on the bindist number, whereas the current one has two versions depending on the tree. As this is the terms used in the documentation, the user will not be lost.
