The pdb-update script is cron'ed to run every 8 hours, and on a good day takes about 10 minutes. Sometimes (often, actually) sql.sf.net is so bogged down that the injection takes longer than the limit for idle connections on shell.sf.net, and the pdb-update script gets killed off. https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=1138685&group_id=1&atid=350001 Has shell.sf.net re-enabled cron? Should we re-write the updater to inject to a secondary table and then copy to the main table all at once (so that the whole update is atomic from the web-user's point of view)? Should we move off SF? dan -- Daniel Macks [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.netspace.org/~dmacks ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games.
