Not yet sure how we'd want to set up such a system. Maybe have release managers to take charge of back-porting and forward- porting? Or maybe just a web interface where we can find other maintainers' packages that have been verified to build on our $dist- $arch so we can help them test? If we're really lucky some users will want to set up a testing team :-)

Maybe we could raise funds to buy a few computers ? We would need at least one computer for each supported branch and each arch. We could also have one with a prerelease next OSX versions. It would make the transition to next versions of OSX much easier and faster.

I don't know how much would cost all this, but I am sure it is affordable for a big community as we are ( I've heard about 80,000 users ?). Apple could help us on this, but maybe I am naive.
