I get the same warning in 10.4-transitional. You could make a symlink
/sw/bin/pymol -> /sw/bin/pymol 2.4, see how that's done in eg the python
package.
This wouldn't change anything, unless you make a separate "pymol"
package. In fact, the various pymol-pyXY variants have mutual
Conflicts/Replaces, so that there is no real problem except for the fink
validator.
What this validator rule aims for is that python-varianted packages
should be able to coexist without Conflicts/Replaces. There is some
logic to this, but it can be inconvenient both for the package
maintainer and for the user.
