Silly me. I went back and reread the most recent tracker comment, finally caught on a little to "unification", followed the commenter's advice and asked Max to take a look at crypt-ssleay. In no time at all, Max submitted the new! non-crypto! crypt-ssleay. (Thanks Max.) I changed the status for the the finance-quote 1.12 tracker back to 'undergoing validation'. I suppose I should have tried boosting the priority, too, since other than the crypto question, the info file was remarkably similar to the accepted finance-quotehist submission.
