Hi folks:

I have a question about one of my packages. (Sorry.) gtk-canvas

It builds a static library, has some header files, and a test program
in /sw/share that demonstrates both of its features. I maintain it as
it is a dependency I need for another package (coot). With the help
of Daniel Macks and coot's author (Paul Emsley) and most recently
David Morrison, I think it is functional and no longer violates any
of the fink prime directives (it has the potential to interfere with
libart, for example).

I have two questions:

1. Since it is mainly a static library and header files, should I
rename it gtk-canvas-dev? Debian seems to do this, and gtk-canvas is
just the set of doc files (I guess they don't install the test ones).

2. Is there anyone who has a better grasp of this package than I do
who would like to add this to their empire?

Thanks.

Bill
