Would it be possible to document the newly created user accounts 
somewhere, please? They are not self-documenting (What is a "Reqest 
Tracker"?) Hint: The passwd.info file would be a good place to do so.

Since the passwd package is an extremely intrusive exception to Fink's 
policy and most user accounts it adds correspond to some exotic package 
or feature most people won't use anyway, it would be important to know 
what one is letting in on one's system there.

I would also encourage to revive the discussion about the old idea to 
add users on a package level so that only those are added that are 
actually needed. Perhaps a removal strategy could be conceived, too.
