May I suggest that we (a) post this to fink-announce, too (at least in theory, some people might be subscribed to that list but not to the user list -- people who only want to know about important major stuff, like this one. (b) also announce this with a news item on the website? Motivation: I already got some mails by people who use "fink selfupdate" regularly, but are not subscribed to fink-users etc. -- so they were caught unaware by the massive change. With a public news item, we could at least point people there, instead of having to re- explain everything everytime :) Cheers, Max ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Fink-devel mailing list Fink-devel@lists.sourceforge.net http://news.gmane.org/gmane.os.apple.fink.devel
