I'm having the same problem. Still seeing 0.9.8k-1. I've tried
(running self-update after each):

- fink index -f
- rm /sw/fink/TIMESTAMP
- rm /sw/fink/10.5/unstable/crypto/finkinfo/openssl*

Using rsync://msn.wi.us.finkmirrors.net/finkinfo
