In Fink FAQ#5.10 "I'm tired of typing my password into sudo again and again. Is there a way around this?" it is said to put the line
username ALL = NOPASSWD: ALL into the sudoers file. This was correct up to and including Panther, but has not worked since Tiger (= MacOSX 10.4). The right syntax is now username ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL which, BTW, did work on Panther, too.
