Hi,

OpenMPI installed by Fink provides an mpicc and mpic++ based on gcc
version 4.0.1 and an mpif90 based on gcc version 4.4.2. These version
incompatibilities come back to bite me when I compile a project on
which I am a developer that mixes C++ and Fortran (in my case, it
adversely affects how an exception is thrown, but there are probably
many incompatibilities).

Would it be possible for Fink to generate an OpenMPI installation in
which all three of the compilers are based upon the same version gcc?

Thanks
