The gmp, libmpfr1 and libmpc2 are reported by the latest
FSF gcc releases as...
checking for the correct version of gmp.h... buggy but acceptable
checking for the correct version of mpfr.h... buggy but acceptable
checking for the correct version of mpc.h... buggy but acceptable
Is there any particular reason why we don't update to gmp 4.3.2,
libmpfr1 2.4.2 and libmpc2 0.8.1? FYI, I recently checked with the
FSF gcc developers about the merits of building FSF gcc 4.5.0
against gmp-5.0.1 and was told that there won't be any until
libmpfr1 is updated to leverage the new features in gmp 5.0.x
(so we might as well stay on gmp 4.3.x until then).
