David, I am promoting the elimination of builds against llvm-gcc in fink 10.7 as Apple will very likely deprecate llvm-gcc-4.2 out of Xcode at some point in the not to distant future. Updates to two of your packges are on fink tracking...

The rpl involves updating to the 1.5.5 release like debian has. This release is python based and thus switches the package to a setup.py installation. Thanks in advance for updating these packages. Jack ps Another goal of eliminating the usage of llvm-gcc is to further test clang for Mountain Lion. I've also uploaded a revision of valgrind that builds against clang to fink tracking... http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3494843&group_id=17203&atid=414256 In the process, I discovered a backend code-gen bug in clang (hacked around with -O0) for codegrind/m_main.c in valgrind-3.7.0-3 which Apple will be fixing for Xcode 4.4 (radr://10942455). Hopefully we can find a few more of these as we work through the remaining packages in fink 10.7 that are currently built with llvm-gcc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Virtualization & Cloud Management Using Capacity Planning Cloud computing makes use of virtualization - but cloud computing also focuses on allowing computing to be delivered as a service. http://www.accelacomm.com/jaw/sfnl/114/51521223/ _______________________________________________ Fink-devel mailing list Fink-devel@lists.sourceforge.net List archive: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.os.apple.fink.devel Subscription management: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-devel
