Hanspeter,
It is still worth having the discussion on whether we should simply add a
BuildDepends
to 10.7's gettext-tools on xcode >= 4.4.1 such that fink-core in the 10.7 tree
standardizes
on the Xcode 4.4.1 clang 4.0 release as the baseline reference devtools. There
are quite
a few bugs fixed as of Xcode 4.4.1 in both clang and the linker such that
forcing the end
users onto that release does have advantages. Alternatively we could have the
next fink
require Xcode 4.4.1 or later for the 10.7 tree.
