Hi Alexander, Sorry I wasn't more explicit. The failure occurred in the openssl100-dev package that CVS depends upon. I had seen similar pod2man errors "Expected text after =item, not a number" and thought it was a more generic problem. Perhaps a newer version of Perl under Yosemite 10.10? In any case, here are the error messages for the OpenSSL package:
