If you do a "source /sw/bin/init.csh" from the terminal you can then do a
"sudo dselect" and, after putting in your admin password, have permission to
add and remove files.

Supposingly you're supposed to put the "source /sw/bin/init.csh" in your
.cshrc and it automatically runs when you bring up the terminal. It does
not work for me though so I have to type it in at the command line before
running anything fink.

If you don't want to use the "source" command you should be able to do a
"sudo /sw/bin/dselect" from anywhere.

I do wish the .cshrc worked for me because it would make things easier.
