Hmm. It does look that way. I'm not having any luck with 'fink 
selfupdate' which is set to use CVS but will not do it, and I can't seem 
to change it back to the simpler, point-version-only update. This 
installation is one I moved as an entire directory over from my iMac at 
home to this iBook, and something appears to be incomplete.

I'll try it when I return home in a couple of days, using my desktop 
iMac.

Thanks very much. Is Bochs worth fooling with? There are a couple of 
specialized ham radio programs I want to try that are Windows-only.
