Many of you might know that the tenon xtools package is missing some of the opengl stuff. In particular the glu.h and libglu.a. Having given up waiting for tenon to do anything about it, If you copy these files from xfree86 4.1, my opengl program works beautifully and the opengl is surprisingly fast - i suspect due to the tenon optimised libgl.
