Alexander:

I was afraid this would be a problem.  There appears to some differences
between the freetype2 distribution from freetype.sf.net and the freetype2
installed with XFree86 4.2.  xpdf only compiles with the latter.  I hate
to make xpdf depend on xfree86-4.2 since we have no way of knowing what
version system-xfree86 users have installed.  Perhaps the best thing would
be to figure out how to make it work with fink freetype2.
