...still. After some helpful suggestions here, I tried updating some of the libraries that gnome-libs and gnome-core depend on, but -libs still won't build. I've placed a log of the build process on my iTools account at the address <http://homepage.mac.com/chdevers/fink/>. Included there are two gz files, one of the cvs update (nothing notable there, I think) and one of the fink update. I'm assuming the relevant bits are the same as I noted earlier: /usr/bin/ld: Undefined symbols: ___db185_open make[2]: *** [gnome-dump-metadata] Error 1 make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2 ### make failed, exit code 2 Failed: compiling gnome-libs-1.4.1.4-2 failed I'd paste a little more context, but the lines are fiendishly long and I don't really want to put them in another email right now, since the log file is only 20k gzipped. If anyone can suggest anything obviously wrong here, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, no big deal -- maybe the Gnome2 stuff will work better anyway.
