OK. Here we go. Normally I would only send this to the maintainer, but
in this case that's Christoph. And yes, it would be great if it was 
fixed,
because this breaks eterm and much of gnome. Now the rle stuff, which
is missing, is in netpbm, but it does not seem to get installed.
